　　尊敬的各位家长：

　　上午好！今天，我很荣幸地在这里，作为你们孩子的英语老师，和你们共同探讨一下“怎样帮助孩子学好英语”，由于水平有限，不当之处，敬请批评指正。

　　首先，非常感谢很多家长对我工作的支持，有时周末把那些没有完成背书任务的同学留下，他们的家长再忙也毫无怨言的一起陪同完成任务。有时作业完成不了电话通知家长，家长能够非常理解老师的良苦用心而来说教自己的孩子等等。真的，我们老师有了你们的支持，哪怕一句肯定的话语，都会让我们老师的心里很暖和，也会让我们在教育孩子的工作能够更加顺利的进行。所以再次感谢你们对我工作的`支持。在坐的很多同学的家长对我并不陌生，经过五年级一年的英语教学很多同学的程度都相对比较熟悉，看到六年级又有部分同学的成绩有所提高，心里甚是高兴，说明家长，学生自己，及老师各方的努力没有白费。

　　经过两个多月的学习，学生与学生之间也产生了一定的差距。一些学生学习兴趣浓，学习尽头足，课堂上积极思考，踊跃发言，课后及时巩固，形成了良性的循环的好势头。我在此为他们感到欣慰。其实还有部分学生处于中间层次，老师所教的，所布置的作业能够基本完成，但学习的效率有因人而异，存在着个体差别。尽管他们平时不需要老师操太多的心，费太大的力，但是我更希望你们能够再上一个太阶。

　　当然，作为直接的知识传授者，老师有着不可推卸的责任。在此我只是真诚的呼吁我们的家长配合学校，配合老师，让我们共同努力来帮助孩子学好英语。用一句时髦的话说：我们要和孩子共同成长，那么重视良好的学习习惯的培养是帮助孩子进步的一个好方法。

　　在此我给家长的一些建议；

　　一、每大周回家时，让孩子大声读读课文给家长听，我们要鼓励孩子大声的朗读课文。

　　二、请大家在家里督促孩子保质保量的完成英语作业。养成良好的学习习惯，不要总是到学校老师检查过了，再去补作业，这样你就比其他学生慢一步，那么一步慢你就会步步慢，结果你就会陷入总是在追赶别人的恶性循环中。所以在家中父母亲的良好榜样起着很大的作用。孩子一般自控力都相对较差，这时父母亲对学习的态度，特别是行为，会极大的影响孩子，千万不能纵容自己的孩子说不会，就任由他去，你让孩子知道：今天，你花大时间去养成好习惯，明天，你就可以更好。今天，你偷懒一会，你明天的作业就会更多。累计下来，你就是欠债最多的人。孩子是每个家庭的重心和希望，有一位家长说过“要把培养孩子当作自己的事业来做”是啊，只要你多投入一点，相信你的孩子会给予你更多的回报！谢谢大家！
