五年级英语作文：My favourite festival

My favourite festival is Spring Festival. It is the most important festival in China.

Before the festival, people usually clean their houses and buy new clothes. On the day of the festival, people get together and have a big dinner. We usually eat dumplings and fish. After the dinner, everyone watches the Spring Festival Gala on TV. We also set off fireworks and firecrackers to celebrate the festival.

During the festival, I usually visit my relatives and friends. We play games and exchange gifts. I also like to eat different kinds of delicious food.

I like Spring Festival very much. It is a time for us to relax, have fun and enjoy the holiday.
