Teaching contents:

It’s warm and windy in spring/ sunny and hot/ … Teaching aims: Through the study of this period, students are able to (1) use appropriate words to describe the weather in different seasons (2) ask and answer the questions about the weather of four different seasons (3) know the features of different seasons and learn to enjoy the beauty of our natural world

Revision: Review words and sentences learnt in this unit by asking the whole class questions. It goes in this way

Ss: Spring, summer, autumn …
T: Wonderful, but can you tell me which season do you like best? Ss: Sure. I like …best. Presentation:
Words Presentation: Present the new words by showing pictures on ppt and let the students guess the meaning firstly. As follows
T: Now let’s look some pictures. They are beautiful and they show us some meamings. Let’s guess now.
T: Wow, It’s in spring. So, what does this picture show us? Ss: ……
T: Great! Warm. Read after me. Warm, warm, warm.. The rest words will the shown in the same way.
After the presentation, a little game --- Say and Show it will be done to practice the new words.
Teacher says the new words, and students show the meaning of it by their own ways. Sentence Presentation:
The sentence will be shown in the form of question.
