摘要：The tangible embodiments of this invention are the 1-(di-lower alkyl aminolower alkyl)-2-phenyl-5,6,7,8-tetrahydroindolizines and the non-toxic acid addition andquaternary salts thereof, which are of pharmacological importance in that they exert aninfluence on the central nervous system of animals. They vary in activity from depressantsto stimulants depending upon the specific compound being used, the dose administeredand the animal species to which it is administered. These compounds may beadministered orally as the free base or in the form of a non-toxic acid addition orquaternary salt.
