摘要：The present invention relates to a vibration absorber (10), in particular for adrive train of a motor vehicle, comprising an internal carrier (12) which can be rotatedaround a rotation axis (M), a mass ring (14) which is coaxial to the internal carrier (12) andwhich is arranged at a radial distance from the internal carrier (12), and a plurality ofspring elements (16) which connect the internal carrier (12) and the mass ring (14) to eachother. The mass ring (14) has at least one radial profile formation (18) on the innercircumferential surface (15) thereof to provide sliding support in the circumferentialdirection and is provided with an elastomeric dampening layer (26) arranged between theinternal carrier (12) and the mass ring (14), said layer being designed such that the massring (14) slides at least in the region of the at least one radial profile formation (18)thereof in the circumferential direction on the internal carrier (12) during a relativerotation.
