摘要： A control system for an electronically controlled transmission (100). A controlunit used to control the actuation of solenoid valves (130, 134, 136) for controlling theflow of hydraulic fluid so as to regulate the pressure to and from the friction elements(302, 304) in response to signals from the detectors (320, 546) which detects the inputand transmission output speed. A detector detects the power demand on the primemover (114) and the sensors provide an indication of the manually selected mode ofoperation of the transmission. The control unit acts on the transmission (100) so that itfollows a set of predetermined changes in programs, the control unit operating in aclosed loop and in real time and with a learning capability to adjust the actuatingsolenoid valves (630, 632, 636) in response to previous change operations. The solenoidvalves (630, 632, 634, 636) comprise a plurality of solenoid valves and a switch valve (610)for controlling two friction elements (302, 304) only by using the a solenoid valves.
