Course Description:
Marxism and Social Science Methodology is a selective course of ideological-political theory for postgraduates. It systematically expounds on the basic contents and its great guiding significance of the Marxist social science methodology, with focus on the Marxist stance, viewpoints and approaches of typical CPC characteristics. The course emphasizes integrating theory with practice, featuring problem awareness, and shows great concern for the authentic research of social science and the reality of students’ thinking. The course mainly aims to teach the Marxist social science methodology. By thoroughly studying the Marxist stance in, viewpoints on and approaches to observing and analyzing society and history, students are trained to develop their theoretical thinking capacity, so as to master scientific methods for studying and research philosophy and other social sciences.
