摘要：A method of production of an electric contact including a contact base member(1) of one metal and a contact member (2) of another metal of hardness lower than thatof the contact base member (1) joined to the contact base member (1) at one endportion (1a) thereof, such method comprising the steps of forming a blind hole (1b) atthe one end portion (1a) of the contact base member (1) and applying pressuresimultaneously to the contact base member (1) and the contact member (2) after thecontact member (2) is inserted and filled in the blind hole (1 b) to thereby cause themetals of the two members (1, 2) undergo plastic deformation to join them together inintimate contact with each other.
