摘要：Uniform adherent coatings of antimicrobial agents are applied to the surface ofimplants by applying a film of silicone oil to the surface of the implant and thencontacting the film-bearing surface with antimicrobial agents in a film-adherent powderform. A durable antimicrobial coating is formed. The coated implants can be packagedusing mechanized implant handling equipment without significant loss of theantimicrobial coating.
