As shown, the webbing B is attached at its ends externallyacross the back of the waistband in such a manner that the length of material of thewaistband bridged by the webbing is greater in length than the webbing itself. Thewebbing may be provided at the sides of the waistband and may be sheathed. Patches ofsponge rubber are attached to the inside of the waistband to grip the wearer's shirt.
