摘要：Disclosed are environmentally safe crop protection agents that interfere withthe attachment of a broad range of plant pathogens to plant cells surfaces. The cropprotection agents contain a compound represented by general structure (1), wherein Xrepresents -0H, -0(aryl), -0(acyl), -0(sulfonyl), -CN, F, C1, or Br; Y represents O, S, Se, or NR;Z represents optionally substituted alkyl, heteroalkyl, cycloalkyl, heterocycloalkyl, aryl,heteroaryl, aralkyl, heteroaralkyl, or-(CH2)m-R<80>; R represents independently foreach occurence hydrogen, alkyl, heteroalkyl, aryl, heteroaryl, aralkyl, heteroaralkyl, or -(CH2)m-R<80>; R<80> represents independently for each occurence aryl, cycloalkyl,cycloalkenyl, heterocyclyl, or polycyclyl; and m is an integer in the range 0 to 8 inclusive.
