摘要：The method serves for manufacturing a dental prosthesis comprising a part,such as a crown or the like, for anchoring to the residual denture, and a dental prosthesispart such as an artificial denture, model casting and the like, retained thereon by adetachable connecting device, such as an interlock, lock, screw or the like. To this end, aprefabricated connector having precisely fitting surfaces for the anchoring part and/orthe dental prosthesis part and entering into no physical bond with the material of thelatter is positioned on a working model representing the jaw situation. The anchoringpart and/or the dental prosthesis part made from a model casting compound capable ofresidue-free combustion is then modelled onto the connector on the working model. Acasting mould is prepared from this model, and the connector is directly fixed into theinvesting compound of the casting mould. The casting of the anchoring part and/or thedental prosthesis part is then cast onto the connector in the casting mould.
