摘要：A method and a device for positioning an object on a tower (2) are described.The tower (2) which has a substantially vertical longitudinal axis (40) comprises an upperend (20) and a lower end (19), and an elongated climbing means (5) is arranged
substantially between said lower end (19) and said upper end (20). A platform (8)
comprising a first beam (9) and a second beam (10) are arranged in engagement with saidclimbing means (5). At least a part of an object, for example an engine house, is arrangedon the platform (8). According to the invention, a third beam (21) with a longitudinal axis(25) and a fourth beam (22) with a longitudinal axis (26) are arranged at the upper end (20)of the tower (2). The platform (8) is transferred from the lower end (19) of the tower (2)along a climbing means (5) to the upper end (20) of the tower (2) so that the longitudinalaxis (23) of the first beam (9) substantially coincides with the longitudinal axis (25) of thethird beam (21) and the longitudinal axis (24) of the second beam (10) substantiallycoincides with the longitudinal axis (26) of the fourth beam (22) when the platform (8) isarranged in the upper end (20) of the tower (2) and then said at least a part of or theentire object is transferred from said first and second beams (9, 10) of the platform (8) tothe third beam (21) and the fourth beam (22).
